Club Roles
The club is run by a group of volunteers who take on various roles – president, secretary, treasurer, education, development, and social. We also have a Facebook group and each of these are run by other volunteers. Leadership is a skill like any other… it can be learned, developed, and mastered through practice among supportive peers.
ASC Roles
There are matching posts at area and national level for the club roles and these are brilliant ways of learning what it feels like to be a leader. Engaging in strategic thinking, improvement planning, and member involvement will make you a better professional and a truly aspiring leader. There are so many ways you can develop your leadership skills with the ASC:
- Leadership Roles – Be at the forefront of growth in the Association, influencing our strategic direction and practical management through club, area, regional and national levels
- Competition Judges – All the way from helping to judge your club contest to Chief Judge at a national competition
- National Conference – Every year wherever conference is held, people are always needed to help organise and deliver this huge and prestigious event
